Teaching and Training.

Dr Ben has extensive experience in teaching and training medical students, psychiatric trainees, postgraduate students and staff. He receives consistently strong positive feedback from participants. He has experience setting up a psychotherapy training framework for psychiatry trainees and a psychotherapy supervision framework for psychotherapy teams. He regularly provides teaching and training at international and national events. He was appointed as a Visiting Assistant Professor at NOVA Medical School, Lisbon in February 2020 and has been teaching the international MSc in mental health since 2017. In 2022 he was appointed an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary’s, University of London, where he teaches and mentors medical students. He regularly teaches on psychotherapy, Trauma/PTSD, CBT, OCD and other anxiety disorders.
