East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) is a large healthcare organization with over 7,000 employees and a budget of over £400 million. Dr Wright was the Clinical Digital Health Leader at ELFT from 2012 to 2022. During their time in this role, they successfully led various digital transformation initiatives, including initiating a comprehensive digital clinical safety program (DCB0160 ), a staff digital engagement and training framework (Digital Champions), and a program to replace the primary clinical information system. Dr Wright co-authored the organisation's digital strategies during this time. He led several transformation domains, including a patient digital inclusion program, electronic prescribing, digital dictation, and virtual consultations. He originally commissioned and designed the specifications of the Clinical system now known as IAPTUS.
